Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Educational Qualification: Minimum Matriculation / 10th pass from a recognized educational institution.
• Training Requirement: At least 05 days training from the Directorate of Agriculture and Horticulture, Jharkhand.
• Residency: Must be a permanent resident of Gumla district.
• Language & Skills: Knowledge of local language; Ability to ride a bicycle and climb trees.
• Desirable: Preference to candidates with training longer than 5 days under the Directorate of Agriculture or Horticulture, Jharkhand.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection will be based on scrutiny of documents and a 100-mark evaluation system as follows:
• Screening: Scrutiny of applications and self-attested documents.
• Merit Evaluation (Total 100 Marks):Academic Qualification (10th Marks Percentage × 0.6): Maximum 60 Marks.Skill Test (Bicycle Riding and Tree Climbing): 10 Marks.Interview (General Hindi, General Knowledge, and Local Language): 20 Marks.Training Duration: Remaining marks based on training period.
• Merit List: A final merit list will be prepared based on these scores.
• No Travel Allowance (TA) or Dearness Allowance (DA) will be paid to candidates for appearing in the skill test or interview.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

• Matriculation/10th pass certificate and mark sheet.
• Certificate of minimum 05 days training from Agriculture and Horticulture Directorate.
• Local resident certificate issued by competent authority.
• Valid Category/Caste certificate issued by competent authority (if applicable).
• Self-attested copy of Identity card / Aadhaar card.
• Two recent passport-size photographs (as per standard requirement).
• How to Apply: Fill the application format downloaded from the notification clearly in Hindi or English. Attach self-attested copies of all certificates. Submit the application by hand or through Registered/Speed Post to: Office of the District Agriculture Officer, Gumla, Combined Agriculture Building Complex, Near Vikas Colony, Post-Gumla, District-Gumla, Pin-835207. The application must reach by 06 November 2026.
