Shorthand Requirement1 (one) year course in Shorthand with a speed of 80 words per minute.
Age LimitMinimum 21 years, Maximum 32 years as on 01.01.2026. Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years; Serving Government employees: up to 5 years.
  • Salary: Pay Band Level 8 (₹28,700 – ₹91,300).
  • Application Fee: OTR is free. Examination Fee: ₹300, Convenience Fee: ₹25, plus applicable Payment Gateway Charges.

  • Candidates must apply online through the official NPSC portal. Follow these steps to apply:
  • Visit the Official Portal: Go to npsc.nagaland.gov.in.
  • Complete OTR: Complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process, available from noon of 21 August to noon of 02 September 2026. This is free of cost.
  • Apply Online: After completing OTR, submit the online application form for the Stenographer post between noon of 21 August and noon of 03 September 2026.
  • Upload NOC: Government employees must upload a "No Objection Certificate" while submitting the online application.
  • Pay Fee: Pay the applicable examination fee, convenience fee, and gateway charges online.
