Eligibility Criteria for Chair Professor Post

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Environmental Science/Atmospheric Science or allied field with outstanding research record.
  • Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience at university or national-level institution.
  • High-impact publications, patents, or technology development in environmental sciences.
  • Specialization in Environmental Sustainability, Climate Change, Water Resources, etc.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in leading large interdisciplinary research projects.
  • Contributions to environmental policy, technology innovation, or community engagement.
  • National/International awards or fellowships.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 70 years (as on 06.07.2026).
