Post-Wise Vacancy & Pay Scale

• Consolidated amount includes all applicable taxes. No Dearness Allowance, Residential Accommodation, Residential Telephone, Personal Staff, CGHS, or Medical Reimbursement is admissible. Annual increment ranges from 0–8% subject to performance assessment by the Divisional Head.

Essential Qualification (Both Posts)

• Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Science / Chemistry, or B.E. / B.Tech in the relevant discipline.

Desirable Qualifications (Both Posts)

• M.Phil / M.Tech / M.Sc. / Ph.D. in relevant field
• Excellent communication and writing skills

Other Selection Criteria

• Familiarity with current policy frameworks of Central and State Governments, and international conventions/treaties on the subject.
• Proven ability to coordinate and deliver multidisciplinary, multi-institutional programs and projects.
• Strong analytical ability to process available information.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Selection will be made strictly by interview. Applications received in the Ministry will be scrutinized, and only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. The Ministry reserves the right to call any number of applicants based on essential/desirable qualifications and experience, with preference to adequately qualified candidates. Requests for virtual interviews will not be considered. No TA/DA is admissible for appearing in the interview or for joining/completing the assignment; however, TA/DA and hotel accommodation for official travel during the tenure are admissible as per SR 190 and MoEFCC guidelines.
