UP CPET Admission 2025 Eligibility Criteria

  • Age: - Minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December 2025. For B.Sc. Paramedical courses in SGPGIMS, Lucknow Maximum age limit is 30 years as on 31st December 2025. For other Institutes no Maximum age limit.
  • Minimum qualifications: -
  • 1. Candidate with Science Subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology in 12th Standard examination is eligible for all Paramedical Bachelor’s Courses provided he/she has obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) and passed in English individually from any recognized board.
  • 2. Candidate with Science Subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics in 12th Standard examination is eligible for the following Paramedical Bachelor’s Courses only
  • a. Bachelor of Optometry b. Bachelor in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology provided that he/she has obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and passed in English individually from any recognized board.
  • 3. Candidate with Science Subjects Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science/ Statistics/ Electronics/ Psychology in 12th Standard examination is eligible for the following Paramedical Bachelor’s Courses only.
  • a. Bachelor in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology
  • provided that he/she has obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science/ Statistics/ Electronics/ Psychology and passed in English individually from any recognized board
  • 4. In respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC the marks obtained in 3 core subjects shall be 40% instead of 45%.
  • 5. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by central government having Science subjects and English only
  • 6. English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for eligibility for admission in Paramedical Course (s).
  • 7. Color Blind candidates are eligible provided that color corrective contact lens and spectacles are worn by such candidates.
  • 8. The selection of candidates will be subject to medical fitness. No selected candidate will be permitted to join the course unless declared medically fit by the Medical Board constituted by the Government Medical College or the District CMO.
