Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Medical Officer (SSC): Mandatory: MBBS degree from a recognized medical college/university registered with the Medical Council of India/State Medical Council. Completion of compulsory rotating internship. Indian Citizenship required. PG Degree holders eligible with separate age criteria.
  • Physical & Mental Fitness: Must meet the medical fitness standards prescribed for the Armed Forces.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Online Registration: Screening based on eligibility criteria.
  • Interview: Candidates shortlisted will be called for an interview in New Delhi during December 2026.
  • Medical Examination: Selected candidates will undergo a rigorous medical examination to meet Armed Forces standards.
  • Note: Detailed shortlisting criteria will be confirmed in the official notification on 7 November 2026. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview unless specified in the final advertisement.
