SBI Vacancy 2026
- SBI has advertised a total of 60 vacancies, shown jointly for Manager (Security) and Deputy Manager (Security). The notice does not split the 60 vacancies between the two posts. The number of vacancies, including reserved vacancies, is provisional and may vary according to the actual requirement of the Bank.
SBI Category-wise Vacancy 2026
- Reservation will follow the prevailing Government of India guidelines. Reserved category candidates for whom no reservation is mentioned may apply against UR vacancies if they meet all UR eligibility criteria. OBC vacancies are only for OBC candidates in the Non-creamy Layer; OBC candidates in the creamy layer should indicate their category as UR. EWS candidates who do not hold the Income & Asset Certificate for the relevant financial year should apply under UR only.
SBI Eligibility Criteria 2026
- Educational qualification and post-qualification experience are counted as on 31/10/2026. Applicants must be Indian citizens.
Manager (Security) – Post-Qualification Experience
- An Officer not below the Rank of Major in Indian Army or equivalent Rank in Indian Navy / Airforce with minimum 10 years of commissioned Service.
- OR an Officer not below the Rank of Deputy Commandant in Para-military forces with minimum 10 years of service as an Officer in such force.
Deputy Manager (Security) – Post-Qualification Experience
- An Officer not below the rank of Captain in Indian Army or equivalent Rank in Indian Navy / Airforce with minimum 5 years of commissioned Service.
- OR an Officer not below the Rank of Assistant Commandant in Para-military forces with minimum of 5 years of service as an officer in such force.
SBI Age Limit 2026
- The age limit for both posts is Minimum: 25 Years, Maximum: 40 Years as on 31.10.2026. The maximum age is for unreserved (UR) category candidates.
Age Relaxation
- Relaxation in the upper age limit will be available to reserved category candidates as per Govt. of India guidelines (wherever applicable).
- Cumulative age relaxation will not be available, either under these items or in combination with any other items.
- Candidates seeking age relaxation must submit copies of the necessary certificate(s) at the time of interview, if shortlisted.
SBI Salary 2026
- The official will be eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, Provident Fund, Contributory Pension Fund i.e. NPS, Leave Fare Concession (LFC), Medical Facility and other perquisites as per rules in force from time to time. The notice does not mention the in-hand salary.
SBI Application Fee 2026
- The fee (application fee and intimation charges) is paid online through the payment gateway integrated with the application, using Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, UPI etc., from 04.11.2026 to 25.11.2026. Transaction charges, if any, are borne by the candidate. The fee is non-refundable under any circumstances and will not be adjusted against any other examination or selection process. If the online payment does not go through at the first attempt, candidates should try again.

SBI Exam Pattern 2026
- Reasoning Ability, English Language and General Awareness are qualifying in nature; their marks are not counted for merit.
- Candidates must score the minimum qualifying marks in these papers, which will be decided by the Bank.

- Download the advertisement and read it, then click "Apply Online" to register.

- Fill in the application; if you cannot finish in one go, save it and note the provisional registration number and password shown on screen to reopen and edit it later.

SBI Recruitment 2026 Important Instructions
- If a candidate submits more than one application, only the last valid (completed) application is kept and the fee paid for the others is forfeited.
- No change of category is allowed after registration. OBC candidates must submit an OBC certificate with the Non-Creamy Layer clause issued during the period 01.04.2026 to the date of interview; EWS candidates must produce the Income & Asset Certificate for Financial Year 2025-26 on or before document verification at the interview.
- Candidates serving in Govt. / Quasi Govt. offices, PSUs, nationalised banks and financial institutions should submit a No Objection Certificate at the interview, failing which their candidature may not be considered and travelling expenses will not be paid.
- Outstation candidates called for interview will be reimbursed economy class airfare for the shortest route, maximum Rs 10,000 (to-and-fro) or the actual travel cost, whichever is lower, on submission of tickets/invoice and boarding pass; local transport is not reimbursed.
- A candidate found not satisfying the eligibility criteria at the interview will not be allowed to appear and will not get any travel reimbursement.
- Selected candidates must produce a proper discharge book from the employer when taking up the appointment; appointment is provisional and subject to being declared medically fit.
- At the interview, candidates must give details of criminal cases pending against them, if any; the Bank may verify police records and may deny appointment.
- Mobile phones, smart watches and other electronic devices are not allowed at the examination or interview; the Bank may capture the left-eye IRIS scan and thumb impression, so contact lenses and spectacles must be removed for the scan and no mehandi or ink should be applied to the hands.
