Technician – Qualification & Experience

  • Candidate must possess an ITI Certificate in Welding.
  • Relevant welding and fitting work experience is required; experience certificates on official letterhead must be produced at the time of the walk-in interview.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age as on 01 July 2026 and must not exceed 40 years.
  • Age Relaxation: Applicable as per Kerala State Government rules for eligible categories (SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen/PwD, etc.).

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Candidates must appear in person at the designated venue on 13 October 2026 at 10:00 AM.
  • Selection will be based on a direct interview assessing technical knowledge, welding and fitting practical skills, and overall suitability.
  • Document Verification: Original certificates (ITI, experience, age proof, ID) and self-attested copies will be scrutinised before the interview.
  • If the number of eligible candidates exceeds the available position, a screening written test may be conducted prior to the interview.
  • No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the walk-in interview.

  • Age Relaxation Certificate in prescribed Government format (if applicable)
  • Two recent passport-size photographs
  • Report at the venue sharp by 10:00 AM on 13 October 2026 with all documents in hand.
  • The engagement is purely temporary and on a contract basis from the date of appointment up to 31.03.2027; it does not confer any permanent government job security or pension benefits.
