Walk-in Venue and How to Register

• There is no postal or email application for this post. Candidates must report in person on 12 November 2026 as follows:
• Fill in the application form printed with the notice (pages 3 and 4 of the PDF).
• Reach the Office of Associate Dean, Sri Mekapati Goutham Reddy Agricultural College, Udayagiri, SPSR Nellore (Dt.) - 524 226.
• Register your name before 10.00 AM on 12 November 2026.
• Hand in the filled-in application with all original certificates and one set of photocopies of all certificates, publications and any other relevant documents.
• Attend the walk-in interview, which begins at 11.00 AM at SMGR Agricultural College, Udayagiri.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

• The notice is for one post: Teaching Associate (01 No.) in the Department of Agronomy, purely temporary and on a contractual basis, not exceeding a period of 11 months.

Essential Qualifications

• The notice lists the essential qualifications as printed below:
• a) Ph.D. in the relevant subject or
• b) Master's Degree in relevant subject
• c) Bachelor's Degree of 4/5 years having first division or equivalent overall grade point average
• d) Experience for at least 3 years of respective teaching/ research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associate ship/ Training/ other engagements.
• e) Published One research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI)/ NAAS rated ≥ 4.0 journals.
• f) Candidates having Post Graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have the NET qualification.

Age Limit

• The upper age limit is 40 years for men and 45 years for women. The application form asks for the candidate's age as on the date of the walk-in interview. The notice does not mention any age relaxation.

Selection Process

• Selection is through the walk-in interview held at SMGR Agricultural College, Udayagiri on 12 November 2026 from 11.00 AM. The decision of the selection committee for the position will be final and binding in all respects. Selected candidates will be required to undergo a medical examination at their own expense, as per the rules, to ensure physical fitness before appointment.

Important Instructions

• The engagement is purely temporary and contractual for a period not exceeding 11 months, and ends automatically after 11 months or on the filling of regular staff by the university, whichever is earlier.
• The incumbent shall have no claim to any regular appointment in the university or any government organisation.
• The incumbent shall have no claim to further continuation of contractual service.
• Concealing facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification at the time of selection, or termination even during the contractual engagement period.
• Contractual engagements can be terminated at any time without prior notice or assigning any reason.
• The engaged person may leave the contractual service by giving one month's notice; otherwise one month's salary is to be paid before leaving.
• No T.A & D.A will be given to candidates appearing for the interview.
• The Associate Dean of the college has a right to cancel or postpone the interview for the said date due to any unavoidable circumstances.
