Essential Qualification (All Posts)

  • MBBS Degree from an MCI-recognized university
  • Post Graduate Degree / Diploma / DNB in the respective specialty
  • Candidates must not have completed three years of Senior Residency in any recognized institution (including both regular and adhoc periods combined)
  • Valid registration of PG / Diploma / DNB with Delhi Medical Council (DMC) is compulsory at the time of the interview

Relaxation in Qualification

  • If no candidate with PG qualification is available in a specialty, candidates without PG qualification but with two years of experience in the concerned specialty may be considered

Age Limit (as on the date of interview)

  • General / EWS: Up to 45 years
  • OBC (Delhi): Up to 48 years
  • SC / ST: Up to 50 years

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Selection is based solely on a Walk-in Interview involving personal interaction and document verification
  • No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in the interview
  • Appointments will be made from a fresh first list on merit. A second list will be used only after the first list is exhausted
  • Senior Resident appointments made from the second list will be for one year only and will not be renewable after that one year
  • Appointment is subject to medical fitness and verification of educational certificates
  • If SC/ST/OBC candidates are not available, posts may be filled for 89 days on an adhoc basis as per combined merit of all categories
  • The Competent Authority reserves the right to make any amendment, cancellation, or changes at any stage during or after the appointment process
