Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Electrician: Candidate must have passed the Maharashtra State Board 10th Standard examination or equivalent, and must hold a valid ITI Certificate in the Electrician Trade from an Industrial Training Institute recognized by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • The selection of candidates for the Electrician post under MSEDCL Advt No. 1160 will be based on the following criteria:
  • Merit List: A combined merit list will be prepared based on the average percentage of marks obtained in the 10th Standard examination and the ITI Electrician Trade examination.
  • Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates on the merit list will be called for document verification on 24 October 2026.
  • No written examination will be conducted. Candidates are advised to ensure all original documents are ready at the time of document verification. TA/DA will not be paid for attending document verification.

  • Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth
  • ITI Certificate in Electrician Trade (NCVT Recognized Institute)
  • Consolidated Mark Sheets — 10th Standard and ITI
  • Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Government Prescribed Format (if applicable)
  • Domicile / Resident Certificate of Maharashtra (if applicable)
  • Two recent passport-size photographs
  • Valid Government Photo ID Proof — Aadhaar Card / Voter ID / PAN Card
