Post-Wise Vacancy & Pay Scale

• The fix-pay arrangement is as per Finance Department Resolution No. Khrch/2002/57/Z.1 dated 16-02-2006 and Resolution No. Khrch/2002/57/(Part-4)/Z.1 dated 18-10-2023. After completion of the five-year contractual period, the candidate may be placed on regular pay scales subject to satisfactory performance and prevailing university rules.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree from a UGC-recognized university. A certificate of basic computer application knowledge from a recognized institute, as per General Administration Department, Gandhinagar resolutions CRR-10-2007-120320-G.5 dated 13-08-2008 and 18-03-2016.
• Desirable: Prior experience in a university or government department.
• Age Limit: Upper age limit is 35 years as on the date specified in the notification.
• Reservation: This is a reserved post for Scheduled Tribe (ST) women candidates on a second-attempt basis.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection process comprises the following stages:
• Written Examination – Candidates will appear for a written test to be conducted by the university.
• Document Verification – Original documents will be verified for eligible candidates shortlisted from the written exam.
• Personal Interview – Candidates clearing document verification will be called for an interview.
• During the five-year contractual period, the selected candidate (if not already qualified) must pass the CCC (Course on Computer Concepts) and Hindi/Gujarati higher-level examinations.
• Important: No TA/DA shall be paid to candidates for attending the Written Examination, Document Verification, or Interview. Admit cards and call letters will be sent by e-mail only. Candidates already in service must apply through the proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview. Any corrigendum or addendum will be published only on the university website.
