Post-Wise Vacancy & Pay Scale

• The single position is under a JCSTI-sponsored research project titled "Design, Synthesis, and Development of Next-Generation Green Cement Composites for Enhanced Geothermal Systems in Jharkhand." The project has a total tenure of three years. Age relaxation is applicable for SC / ST / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / Female candidates as per GOI/DST rules.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• B.Sc in Chemistry or Geology with more than 60% marks or equivalent CGPA/OGPA from a recognised university.
• Desirable: Experience or demonstrated knowledge in the relevant research field (green cement composites, geothermal systems, or related areas).
• Upper age limit: 28 years at the time of appointment. Relaxation in upper age limit for SC / ST / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / Female candidates as per GOI/DST rules.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection process comprises the following two stages:
• Screening of Applications: All received applications will be screened against eligibility criteria. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the interview.
• Online Interview: Shortlisted candidates will appear for a video-call / online interview scheduled for 21 October 2026 at 05:00 PM.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the online interview. The post is purely contractual and co-terminus with the project duration of three years. There is no provision for permanent absorption or government job security.

• Gather attested copies of all relevant degree certificates and experience certificates.
• Send the hard copy of the application along with attested copies of certificates by Speed Post to the Principal Investigator, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad.
