Post-Wise Vacancy, Age Limit & Pay Scale

• Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural University has invited applications against Advertisement No. PC/2026-27/474 for 4 temporary contractual vacancies under the Project Coordinating Unit (Sesame & Niger). Three posts are funded by the National Mission on High Yielding Seeds (NMHYS); the SRF post funding source is not specified in the notification.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Senior Research Fellow (SRF): M.Sc. (Ag.) in Genetics and Plant Breeding. Desirable: NET qualified or PhD; field experience; knowledge of computer applications and data analysis.
• Young Professional-I: B.Sc. (Ag.). Desirable: Computer knowledge; experience of handling agronomical experiments and data collection.
• Field Assistant: B.Sc. (Ag.). Desirable: Computer knowledge; experience of handling plant protection experiments and data collection.
• Lab Assistant cum Computer Operator: B.Sc. (Ag.) / B.Sc. / B.Com. Desirable: Computer knowledge; experience in data handling and financial management.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Selection will be done solely on the basis of a walk-in interview scheduled for 15 October 2026 at 10:00 AM. Candidates must reach the venue — Project Coordinating (PC) Unit, JNKVV, Jabalpur — on or before the reporting time with all original documents and two sets of the completed application form along with attested photocopies.
• No written test or screening examination is prescribed for these posts.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the interview.
• Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate application forms and pay Rs. 100/- application fee for each post.
• Selection is subject to verification of original documents at the venue. Any discrepancy will lead to immediate disqualification.

• The fee of Rs. 100/- must be deposited via Demand Draft or online transfer to: Project Coordinating Unit (Sesame & Niger), JNKVV, Jabalpur — A/c No. 20030200010017, IFSC Code: UCBA0002003, UCO Bank, JNKVV Branch, Jabalpur. Proof of payment must be attached with the application form at the time of interview.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

• Applicants must carry the following originals and photocopies to the interview venue:
• Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate (proof of date of birth).
• All degree certificates and consolidated mark sheets for the qualification applied against.
• Experience certificates on official letterhead, if applicable.
• Valid SC/ST/OBC/PH category certificate in the prescribed Central/State Government format (if claiming relaxation or fee exemption).
• Application fee payment proof (Demand Draft or online transfer receipt) — not required for SC/ST candidates.
• Two attested passport-size photographs and a valid photo identity proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, or PAN card).
• Two sets of the completed application form with attested photocopies of all supporting documents.
• Additional instructions from the notification:
• The positions are purely temporary and contractual up to March 2027. Extension is possible only upon approval of the funding agency.
• Service may be terminated with one month's notice from either side.
