Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • Educational Qualification: Must have passed Intermediate or an equivalent examination in any subject from an Intermediate Council/Board recognised by the State Government or the Central Government by the last date of online application.
  • Desirable Skills: Hindi and English typing at 30 words per minute each.
  • Age Limit (as on 01 August 2026): General (Unreserved) men: 18–37 years General women; BC and EBC (men and women): 18–40 years SC and ST (men and women): 18–42 years
  • Age Relaxation: Regularly appointed Bihar Government servants: 5 years (provided they have not used a maximum of 5 attempts) Persons with disabilities: 10 years over maximum age Ex-servicemen: 3 years plus service period in defence (actual age on application date not exceeding 57 years)
  • Reservation: Only permanent residents of Bihar are eligible for reservation benefits. Reservation must be claimed in the designated column of the online form using the permanent address.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

  • Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth
  • Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent Examination Mark Sheet and Certificate in original
  • Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Bihar Government prescribed format (if claiming reservation)
  • Permanent Residence (Domicile) Certificate of Bihar (required for reservation claim)
  • Non-Creamy Layer Certificate for BC/EBC candidates
  • EWS Income and Asset Certificate in Annexure-1 (Format-1) if applicable
  • Persons with Disability (40%+ ) Certificate valid as on last date of application (if applicable)
  • Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)
  • Printed copy of the online application – every page must show Bar Code and Application Number
  • Keep at least five extra copies of the uploaded photograph along with copies of all certificates
  • Email ID, Mobile Number, User Name and Password must be retained until the final result
  • No correction or change will be accepted after final submission of the online form
  • All certificates mentioned in the form must be produced in original at the time of appointment
