Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Research Associate:Essential: M.Sc. in Agriculture (Seed Science & Technology / Plant Breeding) OR M.Sc. in Forestry / M.Sc. in Botany with experience in Seed Science & Technology. First Class or 60% marks or equivalent overall GPA. Candidates with 3-year bachelor's + 2-year master's must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR/ICFRE NET or Ph.D. in the above disciplines.Desirable: 4-year work experience in R&D in seed testing labs or seed processing units; experience working with forest communities; drafting research articles and reports; computer applications.
• Senior Project Associate:Essential: M.Sc. in Agriculture (Seed Science & Technology / Plant Breeding) OR M.Sc. in Forestry / M.Sc. in Botany with experience in Seed Science & Technology. First Class or 60% marks or equivalent grade.Desirable: 2-year work experience in R&D in seed testing labs or seed processing units; understanding of forestry application and data compilation.
• Project Associate:Essential: B.Sc. in Agriculture OR B.Sc. in Forestry OR B.Sc. in Botany.Desirable: Experience in seed collection, field data recording, computer operations, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Lab Technician:Essential: B.Sc. in Agriculture OR B.Sc. in Forestry OR B.Sc. in Botany.Desirable: Work experience in laboratory analysis of samples & data, data recording, analysis, and computer knowledge.
• Other Conditions: Candidates must be medically fit to work in forest areas of Jharkhand. Proficiency in MS Office may be an added benefit.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Candidates will appear before a selection committee for an interview.
• A qualifying written test may be conducted prior to the interview if the number of eligible candidates is large. The syllabus and marking scheme for such a test are not described in the notice.
• Document verification of original certificates and attested photocopies.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

• Complete enrolment between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM; candidates arriving after 11:00 AM may not ordinarily be entertained.
• Attend the qualifying written test, if conducted.
• Attend the interview starting at 11:30 AM.
• Any change in the advertisement information will only be uploaded on the Jharkhand Forest Department official website.
• The Conservator of Forest reserves the right to cancel or postpone the interview and to terminate the contract even before the completion of the project; no appeal shall be entertained.
