Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Research Associate:Qualification: M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Agricultural Entomology / Plant Pathology.Computer Knowledge: Essential MS-CIT.Experience: Desirable minimum one year of experience as Research Associate.
  • Assistant Research Associate:Qualification: B.Sc. Agriculture or allied degree.Computer Knowledge: Essential MS-CIT.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Selection will be done solely through a personal interview conducted before the Head of the Department of Entomology, PGI, Dr. PDKV, Akola. Original certificates will be verified on the spot. In case of a large number of candidates, the interview may continue to the next day. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

  • Date of birth proof (SSC Certificate).
  • Educational qualifications (SSC and above) with original certificates and one set of attested photocopies.
  • MS-CIT certificate or proof of computer knowledge.
  • Experience certificates (if any).
  • No Objection Certificate (NOC) of the employer, if currently employed.
  • Application proforma (downloaded from www.pdkv.ac.in or pages 3 & 4 of the notification), duly filled and attested.
  • Statement accepting terms and conditions on Rs. 100/- bond paper (required after appointment).
  • Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof.
  • Strict Instruction: Candidates arriving after 12:00 PM will not be permitted.
