  • JIPMER Karaikal campus has invited applications for a single Project Nurse-II position under the ICMR-funded research project titled "Implementation and Evaluation of a Community-Based Drug Take-Back Program for Safe Disposal of Expired and Unused Medicines in rural areas of South Indian district: A Mixed-Methods Interventional Study".
  • Project Duration: Initial appointment for 11 months for Year I, with extension based on performance. The total project duration is 3 years. No allowances other than HRA are payable.

Project Nurse-II — Essential Qualification

  • Three-year General Nursing & Midwife (GNM) Course from a recognized institution/board.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Previous experience in community-based work, research studies, public health, or field data collection.
  • Basic computer skills — MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, data-entry, and research-documentation proficiency.
