Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Postdoctoral Fellow (Chemistry / Materials Science): Candidate must hold a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry or Materials Science from a recognised university. Candidates who have submitted their thesis but have not yet received the Ph.D. degree are also eligible, subject to production of a valid thesis submission certificate. A strong background in materials synthesis and catalysis is preferred.
  • Age Limit: Maximum age 35 years as on the closing date. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories (SC / ST / OBC / EWS / PwD / Ex-Servicemen) as per Government of India rules.
  • Salary: Rs. 60,000/- per month plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per IIT Ropar institute rules.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • The selection for the Postdoctoral Fellow position at IIT Ropar will be based on the following process:
