Eligibility Criteria for CAU Recruitment 2026

  • Candidates must meet the following educational and age criteria to attend the walk-in interview:

Educational Qualification

  • M.Tech./M.E.: in Food Process Engineering, Agricultural Processing, Processing and Food Engineering, Dairy and Food Engineering, Dairy & Food Technology, or Food Technology.
  • M.Sc.: In relevant subjects / Livestock Product Technology with NET qualification or any other DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MOE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc. qualification.
  • Preference: Experience in processing, product development, analysis of dairy and food products, and knowledge of 3D drawings.

Age Limit

  • Maximum Age: 28 years
  • Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, Physically Handicapped, Women, and OBC candidates.

Salary / Stipend Details

  • First 2 Years: ₹37,000/- per month plus HRA as applicable.
  • After 2 Years: ₹42,000/- per month plus HRA as applicable (subject to satisfactory performance).
