Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Essential Qualification: B.Sc. (Agr.) under four-year degree programme and M.Sc. (Agri) 2nd Class from a recognized University.
• Desirable Qualification: M.Sc (Agri.) 1st Class or above; knowledge of customs, manners & dialects of Himachal Pradesh.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection process includes:
• Stage 1: Objective Type Screening Test/Descriptive Subject Aptitude Test Paper-I: Computer Based Test (CBT) or Offline Screening Test of 1 hour duration, 100 marks, with negative marking. Paper-II: Descriptive Subject Aptitude Test (SAT) of 3 hours duration, 120 marks.
• Stage 2: Personality Test – 30 marks, held at HPPSC office, Shimla. Minimum pass marks: 40% for General, 30% for Reserved categories.
• Note: No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the tests.

• All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Agriculture).
