Eligibility for Finance Officer

  • Essential Qualification: Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
  • Experience (Option A): At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in Academic Level 11 and above, OR 8 years of service in Academic Level 12 and above (Associate Professor) with experience in educational administration.
  • Experience (Option B): Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education.
  • Experience (Option C): 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
  • Age Limit: Preferably below 57 years.

Salary / Stipend

  • Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Level 14 with a salary range of ₹1,44,200 - ₹2,18,200. The appointment is for a tenure of 5 years or until attaining the age of 62 years, whichever is earlier. Appointees will be governed by the National Pension Scheme (NPS).

Selection Process

  • Selection will be based on the process determined by the University. Reimbursable single second-class railway fare is available for outstation SC/ST/PwBD candidates called for the interview. Selected candidates must execute a service agreement and provide a medical fitness certificate.
