Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Qualification: Retired Judicial Officer who has worked as a District Judge.
• Age: Candidates must be below 62 years of age as of 30 November 2026.
• Experience: Must have served as a District Judge.
• Character: No adverse reporting during service tenure; no disciplinary or criminal proceeding pending.
• Health: Must possess sound health.
• Desirable: Preferably retired recently.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Scrutiny of applications by the Authority.
• Interview/Counselling/Interaction of shortlisted candidates.
• The Authority may obtain and consider ACRs/APARs of the last three years.
• Names forwarded by the Law Department will also be invited for Interview/Counselling/Interaction.
• Decision of the Authority on eligibility, shortlisting, and selection is final.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the Interview.
