Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Candidates applying for the Faculty and Senior Resident posts at ESIC Bhubaneswar must meet the following requirements:
  • Essential Qualification: MBBS with relevant Post-Graduate qualification (MD/MS/DNB or equivalent) in the respective specialty, strictly adhering to the norms prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC) / ESIC Headquarters.
  • Age Limit (as on 31 October 2026):Teaching Faculties: Not exceeding 67 yearsSenior Residents (Clinical): Not exceeding 45 yearsSenior Residents (Non-Clinical / Para-Clinical): Not exceeding 50 years
  • Other Conditions:Candidates currently serving in Government/Autonomous/Statutory Institutions must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview.Candidates on deputation are not eligible for this contractual recruitment.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • The selection of candidates for the 75 contractual vacancies at ESIC Bhubaneswar will be carried out through the following stages:
  • Document Verification: Initial screening by the Document Verification Committee to verify the authenticity of educational qualifications, experience, and medical registration certificates.
  • Personal Interview: An interview conducted by the duly constituted Selection Board based on academic credentials and performance in the interview.
  • Attendance Instructions: Candidates reporting to the venue after 10:00 AM on the respective interview date will be considered absent.Travel Allowance: No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the walk-in interview.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

  • Candidates must carry the following original documents along with a set of self-attested photocopies to the walk-in interview venue:
  • Certificate of passing Class 10th for Date of Birth.
  • All Marks Sheets, Attempt Certificates, and Degree Certificate of MBBS.
  • Post-Graduate Degree Certificate (MD/MS/DNB).
  • Valid EWS/OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwBD Certificate in Central Government prescribed format.
  • State/NMC Medical Registration Certificate (updated).
  • Proof of Publication(s) and Experience Certificates.
  • Recent Passport Size Photographs and Valid Photo ID Proof.
  • Relieving/NOC from previous/current Employer.
  • Printout of the submitted Google Form and Offline Application Form.
  • Demand Draft (Rs. 500) in favor of 'ESI Fund A/c No. 1' payable at Bhubaneswar (if applicable).

3. What is the application fee for ESIC Recruitment 2026?

  • The application fee is Nil for SC, ST, ESIC Regular Employees, Female candidates, Defence Ex-Servicemen, and PH candidates. For all other categories, the fee is Rs. 500, payable via Demand Draft in favor of 'ESI Fund A/c No. 1' payable at Bhubaneswar.
