  • The Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh has announced 2 project staff vacancies under the Department of Biotechnology for the ICMR-NHRP-SAHAY Project.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) – 1 Post (UR)
  • Essential Qualification: Post-Graduation in Anthropology, Social Work, Sociology, Public Health, Social Welfare and Rural Management, Rural Development, or any other subject of Life Sciences.
  • Experience: Minimum two (02) years of post-qualification experience exclusively in community-based health research with publications.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
  • Project Technical Support-III – 1 Post (OBC)
  • Essential Qualification (Option A): MA/MSc in Anthropology, Social Work, MPH, Social Welfare and Rural Management, Rural Development, other Social Sciences, or Life Sciences, with experience in community-based health research.
  • Essential Qualification (Option B): Graduates in Nursing or Dental Sciences with three years of experience in community-based health research.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 35 years, relaxable by 3 years for OBC candidates.
  • Preference: Telugu speaking candidates will be preferred as the field area is in Andhra Pradesh. All qualifications and experience must be from recognised organisations with valid certificates. Selected candidates must stay in the tribal area of Alluri Seetharama Raju (ASR) district.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Stage 1 – Eligibility Screening: Applications will be screened against the advertised eligibility criteria. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
  • Stage 2 – Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email regarding the interview schedule and venue. The interview date is not specified in the notification.
  • Stage 3 – Document Verification: All original certificates, including educational qualification and experience certificates, must be produced for verification at the time of interview or appointment.
  • TA/DA: No TA, DA or any travel allowance will be paid for attending the interview.
  • Disqualification: Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification. Providing false or incorrect information at any stage renders the candidature liable to cancellation without notice or compensation.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

  • Applications must be submitted in the prescribed Annexure-I (Form of Application) format. The following documents must be scanned and emailed:
  • Application form in Annexure-I format with recent passport-size photograph pasted and proof of date of birth attached.
  • Educational qualifications filled in chronological order from Matriculation onwards, along with all scanned academic certificates and mark sheets.
  • All previous and present employment details with scanned experience certificates.
  • Publication details including title, authors, journal, year, volume, DOI, and indexing (Scopus/WoS/UGC Care).
  • Signed declaration with place, date, name, address, and mobile number.
  • Application Instructions:
  • Send the scanned application and certificates to [email protected] on or before 20 November 2026.
  • A separate application must be sent for each post through separate emails. If one email covers multiple posts, only the first mentioned post will be considered.
  • Applications received after the last date will not be considered.
