Post-Wise Vacancy & Pay Scale

• The 08 vacancies correspond to specific pre-identified Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs) across various blocks of District Budgam under HADP Phase II. The engagement is on a self-earning/entrepreneur basis through service charges, input sales commission, B2B/B2C marketing commission, and training contingency fee. No fixed salary amount is guaranteed.
• Selected KUs must enter into an agreement with the Assistant Programme Director (APD) and deposit a refundable security amount of Rs. 10,000 in the form of a Fixed Deposit Receipt from any scheduled commercial bank. The security deposit is forfeited in case of exit before the 2-year term.

Age Limit

• Between 21 and 45 years as on 14-10-2026 (last date of submission).

Educational Qualification – Krishi Udyami (Agricultural Entrepreneur)

• Diploma in Agriculture & Allied Fields from a government-recognised institution — includes Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary Sciences, Forestry, Fisheries, Sericulture, Agricultural Engineering, BHT, BAT.
• OR Graduation in Science (B.Sc) or in Agriculture & Allied Fields (B.Sc in Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry/Fisheries/Sericulture, BVSc & AH, B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering) from a government-recognised institution.
• Additional preference is given to candidates holding: Post-graduation (Science / Agriculture & Allied) — up to 10 additional merit points Diploma/Certification in computers (3+ months from a government-recognised institution) — up to 15 additional merit points

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection of Krishi Udyamis is based entirely on a point-based merit evaluation system (maximum 100 points). There is no written examination and no interview.

Educational Qualification:

• Shortlisted candidates (highest-scoring) will undergo document verification at the office of the Chief Agriculture Officer, District Budgam. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the document verification process. Original documents must be presented at the time of verification.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

• Applicants must attach the following self-attested photocopies with the completed application form:
• Date of Birth certificate / Matriculation certificate (proof of date of birth)
• Marks certificates of all qualifying examinations
• Domicile Certificate of the local Panchayat
• Character Certificate issued by the competent authority
• Affidavit attested by a First-Class Magistrate declaring that the candidate will make available a secure space of approximately 750–800 Sq. Ft. (two rooms/shops) within the concerned Panchayat on their own, for which no rent shall be claimed
• Latest passport-size photograph with white background affixed on the application form
• Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (if applicable)
• Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)

How to Submit the Application

• Download the application form from District Budgam Official Website or obtain it from the office of the Chief Agriculture Officer, District Budgam.
• Submit the completed application form in person or through registered post to the office of the Deputy Commissioner, District Budgam on or before 14-10-2026 (upto 4:30 PM).
