Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Residency: Strictly limited to local residents of Bijapur District only.
• Educational Qualification: 10th Class pass from a recognized school situated in Chhattisgarh or Madhya Pradesh. ST candidates are eligible with a 5th class pass. Candidates from Naxal-affected families or families living in relief camps in Naxal-affected areas (all categories) are eligible with a 5th class pass.
• Physical Standards: Height (Men): 163 cm (General/SC/OBC), 150 cm (ST). Height (Women): 153 cm (General/SC/OBC), 148 cm (ST). Chest (Men): 79-84 cm (General/SC/OBC), 74-79 cm (ST) with minimum 5 cm expansion. Must be medically fit without knock-knee, flat-foot, or eye disease.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC get 5 years relaxation; Local Bijapur women get up to 10 years relaxation. Government employees get up to 36 years.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection involves a multi-stage physical, written, and interview evaluation totaling 200 marks.
• Physical Efficiency Test (100 Marks): Long jump, high jump, shot put, 100m race, and 800m race (20 marks each). Candidates must score 60% (General) or 50% (SC/ST/OBC).
• Written Examination (50 Marks): Objective questions on general knowledge, analytical ability, local geography, and arithmetic. Shortlisting capped at 15 times vacancies.
• Interview (20 Marks): Selection interview. Shortlisting capped at 3 times vacancies.
• Bonus Marks (30 Marks): Based on Heavy Motor Vehicle Licence (5 marks), NCC/NSS 'C' Certificates (5 marks), and knowledge of the district's local dialect (20 marks).
• Note: Separate dates will be issued for physical tests, written exam, and interviews. Candidates must carry postal receipts if applied via post. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending any stage of recruitment.
