Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Essential Qualification:B.Sc (Nursing) from a recognised institution; ORCertificate in General Nursing and Midwifery along with 'A' Grade Certificate in Nursing from a recognised institution, plus a Post-certificate Diploma in Nursing Administration / Sister Tutor's Course.
  • Experience: Five (5) years of experience as Nursing Sister / Theatre Sister.
  • Nursing Council Registration: Must be registered with the Delhi Nursing Council (DNC) or any other recognised Nursing Council. After selection, registration with DNC reflecting the essential qualification for the selected post is mandatory.
  • Age Limit: Upper age limit is 55 years. Age relaxations are applicable for SC/ST/OBC/Departmental Candidates/Ex-Servicemen/PwD candidates as per Govt. of India, DoPT, and Govt. of NCT of Delhi instructions. Candidates seeking age-relaxation must produce valid category certificates issued on or before 22-10-2026. OBC candidates must furnish a Non-Creamy Layer Certificate issued within the preceding six months by the competent authority of Govt. of NCT of Delhi.

How to Apply for RGSSH Assistant Nursing Superintendent Post

  • Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as proof of date of birth.
  • Originals and photocopies of all degree / diploma certificates and consolidated mark sheets (B.Sc Nursing / GNM + 'A' Grade + Post-certificate Diploma).
  • Experience Certificates on official letterhead proving 5 years as Nursing Sister / Theatre Sister.
  • Valid Nursing Council Registration Certificate (DNC or any other recognised council).
  • Valid Category / Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/PwD) in the format prescribed by Govt. of NCT of Delhi, issued on or before 22-10-2026.
  • OBC Non-Creamy Layer Certificate issued within the preceding six months by the competent authority of Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
  • No Objection Certificate and Experience Certificate from current employer (if applicable).
  • Printed copy of the filled Google Form.
  • Two recent passport-size photographs and a valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN).
