Post-Wise Vacancy & Pay Scale

• A total of 1,812 contractual posts are notified across 33 districts of Chhattisgarh. District-wise and category-wise breakup with the 100-point reservation roster is given in Annexure 'A' of the official notification. For example, Raipur district has 141 vacancies.
• Reservation Highlights:
• Reservation follows the Chhattisgarh Lok Seva (Reservation for SC, ST and Backward Classes) Act, 1994, and the 100-point roster per General Administration Department directions, district-wise.
• 30% of posts are reserved for women (horizontal reservation) under the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Special Provisions for Appointment of Women) Rules, 1997. Widows and divorced women are given preference.
• 7% of posts are reserved for persons with disabilities, and reservation for ex-servicemen is as per Government rules.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• All candidates must complete the minimum qualification on or before 21-10-2026. For English-medium posts, candidates must have studied in English medium from Class 6 up to the highest degree (this does not apply to Lecturer and Teacher posts for Hindi and Sanskrit).

Salary / Honorarium Structure

• The posts carry a fixed monthly lump-sum honorarium based on the post. There is no dearness allowance, compensatory allowance, house rent allowance, or annual increment under this contract appointment.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Selection is through a Computer Based Test (CBT) only, followed by document verification. No separate interview is mentioned in the notification.
• The CBT will be conducted in English medium.
• The CBT is tentatively scheduled between 31-10-2026 and 05-11-2026 in multiple shifts and dates based on the number of applicants.
