• In item 17 of the proforma, state whether you are applying for deputation (including Short Term Contract), Absorption or Re-employment, and sign the declaration on qualification and work experience.
• Sign the Declaration by Applicant (Annexure-IV).
• Get the Certification by the Employer/Cadre Controlling Authority (Annexure-III) completed, countersigned and sealed.
• Attach the documents listed under Enclosures below.
• Submit the application to your employer, which forwards it through proper channel to the Under Secretary (M&T) so that it reaches within 60 days of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News.
• The notice does not mention a postal mode or any text to write on the envelope. Advance copies of applications, applications received after the closing date and applications not accompanied by the required certificates/documents are liable to be rejected.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

• There are two posts of Senior Agricultural Engineer, classified as General Central Service, Group 'A' Gazetted, Non-Ministerial, in Pay Level - 11 (Rs. 67700-208700) in pay matrix. The number of vacancies is tentative and may be decreased or increased at the discretion of the Competent Authority.

Essential Qualification and Experience

• Degree in Agricultural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognised University or Institute; and
• Five years' experience in operation and maintenance of tractors, agricultural machinery and allied equipment's including teaching experience in any Government or private listed organisation; or five years' experience in handling independently testing and evaluation of farm machinery and agricultural implements in any Government or private listed organisation.

Age Limit

• The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short term contract) shall not be exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications. The notice prints no age relaxation.

• Only officers who can be spared immediately in the event of selection should be forwarded; the employer certifies that the officer will be relieved immediately if selected.

• As per the proforma, officers under Central/State Governments are only eligible for 'Absorption', and candidates of non-Government organisations are eligible only for Short Term Contract.
• Level in the Pay Matrix or Grade Pay granted under ACP/MACP should not be shown as the post's pay; only the pay of the post held on regular basis is to be mentioned.
• The information in the CV, supported by documents on essential qualification and work experience, will be assessed by the Selection Committee at the time of selection.
• By the Annexure-IV declaration, the applicant is liable to be repatriated to the parent organisation for any inaccuracies, contravention of deputation rules or any change in the recruitment rules.
• The Competent Authority reserves the right not to fill up any or all advertised posts and to cancel the advertisement in whole or in part at any stage.
