Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Candidates must fulfil one of the following eligibility pathways:
• Pathway A: Officers from Central Government / State Government / Autonomous Body / PSU holding an analogous post, possessing a minimum three-year Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution, and having working knowledge of Computer (MS Office / PowerPoint).
• Pathway B: Upper Division Clerk (UDC) in Level-4 (Rs. 25,500 – Rs. 81,100) with 10 years of regular service in the grade, possessing a minimum three-year Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution, and having working knowledge of Computer (MS Office / PowerPoint).
• Important: Departmental officers (current ICMR employees) are not eligible to apply under this deputation notification.
• Maximum Age Limit: Not exceeding 56 years as on 9 November 2026 (last date of receipt of application).

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Shortlisting: Applications will be screened for eligibility, completeness, and compliance with the proper-channel requirement. Only candidates meeting the eligibility criteria and routing applications through the correct channel will be shortlisted.
• Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview at ICMR-NIRBI, Kolkata. The interview may be conducted offline or online, and the exact date/schedule will be communicated later to shortlisted candidates.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in the interview.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

• Application Form (Annexure-I) duly filled and signed
• Certificates of educational qualifications (Bachelor's Degree)
• Experience / Service Certificate from current employer
• Cadre Clearance Certificate
• APARs / ACRs of the preceding five years (2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25, and 2025-26)
• Integrity Certificate
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the current department
• List of major and minor penalties (if any) imposed during the last ten years
• Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (if applicable)
• Two recent passport-size photographs and Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)
• Key Instructions: Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification. Applications received other than through the proper channel or after the last date will be summarily rejected.
