Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection for the JRF – Technical post will be based on the scrutiny of applications followed by an interview/interaction. The following clauses apply:
• Candidates meeting the essential qualifications will be shortlisted based on academic performance, GATE score, and relevant experience.
• A screening written test may be conducted if the number of eligible candidates exceeds the prescribed limit, at the discretion of the selection committee.
• Document verification will be conducted before the final selection.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for interview/screening.
• The final selection rests with the competent authority of IIT Kharagpur.

Additionally, knowledge of numerical modelling (FLAC, UDEC, RS2), scripting, and data analysis is desired.
