Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Educational Qualification:Master's Degree in Chemistry; ORDegree in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Oil Technology, Agriculture Science, Veterinary Science, Bio-Chemistry, Microbiology, or Medicine.
  • Technical Requirements:Basic knowledge of computer applications.Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
  • Age Limit: 18 to 37 years as on 10/11/2026. Age relaxations apply as per Government rules for Women, Reserved Categories, and PwD.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • One-stage MCQ Competitive Examination: CBRT/OMR based (Part-A: 90 Marks, Part-B: 120 Marks).
  • Document Verification: Candidates called in the ratio of approximately 2:1 based on exam merit.
  • Final Selection List: Prepared based on combined merit, subject to medical fitness and document verification.
  • Note: No TA/DA is paid for appearing in the examination or interview process.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

  • Original 10th Certificate (Age Proof).
  • All Academic Certificates and Marksheets.
  • Caste / Non-Creamy Layer / EWS Certificates (if applicable).
  • Disability Certificate (Form V/VI/VII) if applying under PwD quota.
  • Bank Passbook copy for fee refund.
  • Recent Passport size photo (White background).

What is the application fee?

  • The application fee is Rs. 500 for Unreserved candidates and Rs. 400 for Reserved candidates. The fee is refundable for candidates who appear in the exam.

What is the salary structure?

  • A fixed pay of Rs. 40,800 per month is applicable for the first five years. Upon regularization, the pay scale becomes Rs. 29,200 - 92,300 (Level-5) as per 7th Pay Commission.
