Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • TGT Social Science: Candidates must possess the required educational and professional qualifications as per KVS norms for Trained Graduate Teacher – Social Science. This typically includes a Bachelor's Degree in concerned subjects (History, Geography, Civics & Economics) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification, and CTET Paper II qualification. Candidates should be proficient in teaching in both Hindi and English medium as prescribed by KVS.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • The selection for the contractual post of TGT Social Science will be made purely on the basis of a Walk-in Interview scheduled on 21 October 2026. Candidates are required to report at the Vidyalaya between 10:00 AM with all original documents.
  • Candidates who have registered online on the official Vidyalaya website will only be considered for the walk-in interview.
  • Original documents will be verified on the day of the interview.

  • CTET Paper II Admit Card / Scorecard (if applicable as per KVS norms)
  • Experience Certificates on Official Letterhead (if applicable)
  • Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (if applicable)
  • Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)
  • Printed copy of Online Registration Confirmation / Reference Number
