Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Assistant (General Administration): Any Graduate from a recognized university.
  • Lab Technician: Any Engineering / Science Graduate or Diploma in Engineering from a recognized university/institution.
  • Nationality: Citizen of India.
  • Time Limit: Must have passed the qualifying examination not more than 4 years before the interview date.
  • Portal Registration: Must register on NATS 2.0 (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) at https://nats.education.gov.in/index.php. Bank account must be Aadhaar-seeded.

Age Limit and Reservation

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 27 Years
  • Upper age relaxation for Reserved Categories and PWD as per Government of India Rules.
  • Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS as per Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship norms, Central Apprenticeship Rules, and Apprentices Act 1961.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Candidates will report at DIAT, Girinagar, Near Khadakwasla Dam, Pune-411025 at 11:00 Hrs on 30 October 2026. Original documents will be scrutinised. Selection is provisional and based on performance in the test/interview. The provisionally selected list will be displayed on the DIAT website. Selection is subject to later verification of certificates. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

  • 10th / 12th Passing certificate & mark sheet
  • Qualifying degree passing certificate & mark sheet
  • Date of Birth certificate / birth date proof
  • Caste certificate, if applicable
  • Passport size photographs (2 nos.)
  • PAN card
  • Aadhaar card
  • Photo copy of Bank passbook front page or cancelled cheque
  • Prescribed application form (printed below the advertisement) with xerox copies
