Educational Qualification

  • As per UGC Guidelines 2018.
  • Preference: Candidates with Ph.D. and/or UGC NET qualification.
  • Alternative: Post-Graduate Degree with a good academic record if Ph.D./NET candidates are unavailable.

Age Limit

  • For regular candidates, age is as per university norms. Retired faculty can engage up to 70 years of age subject to performance review.

  • Candidates must appear for the walk-in interview with the following documents:

  • Original Marksheets and Certificates of all exams.
  • Original UGC (NET) Certificate (if applicable).
  • Original Ph.D. Degree Certificate (if applicable).
  • Original Copies of Research Publications.
  • Self-attested photocopies of all documents.
  • One recent passport-size photograph.

Sambalpur University Selection Process

  • The selection for Guest Faculty posts will be based on the following evaluation criteria:
  • General Career (30 Marks): Academic performance in HSC, Intermediate, Degree, etc.
  • Research Degree (20 Marks): M.Phil., Ph.D., etc.
  • Demo Class (15 Marks): Duration of 5-10 minutes.
  • Research Publication (Max 15 Marks): 10 marks for International Journals, 5 marks for National Journals.
  • Viva-Voce (20 Marks): Final interview assessment.
