Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO): Graduate from a recognised University/Institution. MBA/PGDM in Management/Marketing/Finance/Banking, CAIIB or other relevant professional qualification (Desirable). Minimum 15 years of experience in banking/financial services, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership/business management role involving responsibility for a region/zone/business vertical/large portfolio or multi-branch network. Should be serving, or should have served, at Scale-V or above in a Scheduled Commercial Bank/Regional Rural Bank/Cooperative Bank, or in an equivalent senior management position in a reputed private sector bank/financial institution.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Preliminary Screening and Shortlisting: Applications will be screened and shortlisted based on eligibility criteria.
  • 3-Year Business Transformation Strategy: Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit a 3-year Business Transformation Strategy.
  • Interview and Personal Interaction: Final selection based on interview and personal interaction.
  • Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

  • Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth.
  • All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (Graduate and higher qualifications).
  • Experience Certificates on Official Letterhead (Minimum 15 years banking/financial services experience).
  • Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (if applicable).
  • Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN).
  • Self-attested copies of photograph, signature, ID proof, and certificates.
  • Downloaded and duly filled application form from the official website.
  • Send the completed application form through Speed Post / Registered Post to the address mentioned in the notification before 07 October 2026.
  • Keep a photocopy of the submitted application form for future reference.
