Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• The detailed eligibility criteria are governed by the notified Recruitment Rules dated 27 November 2017, as amended vide notification dated 20 April 2022. • Applicant Pool: Only officers currently serving under Central Government, State Government, Public Sector Undertakings, Semi-Government, Autonomous, or Statutory Organizations are eligible to apply.
• Post Held: Officers holding posts equivalent in grade and scale with Civil Engineering background and experience as prescribed in the Recruitment Rules.
• Experience: As per deputation guidelines in the notified RRs — officers must possess the experience and educational qualifications prescribed for direct recruitment to the post of Executive Engineer (Civil).
• Forwarding Requirement: Applications must be forwarded through proper channel by the cadre controlling authority and must be accompanied by ACRs/APARs for the last five years and the forwarding certificate (Annexure-II).
• Complete Applications Only: Applications without supporting certificates/documents in support of qualification and experience will not be processed and will be rejected forthwith.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection will be done on the basis of deputation eligibility criteria and screening of applications received through proper channel.
• Candidates whose applications are incomplete or not accompanied by supporting documents will not be considered.
• No withdrawal of candidature: Officers who apply on deputation basis will not be permitted to withdraw their candidature subsequently.
• Selected officers will be relieved by their parent departments as certified during forwarding.
• No TA/DA is payable for attending any stage of the selection process.

• Detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) of the officer.
• Self-attested photocopies of all certificates supporting qualification and experience claimed.
• Attested photocopies of ACRs/APARs for the last five years, attested by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary or equivalent.
• Forwarding Certificate (Annexure-II) certifying the correctness of particulars, absence of any pending or contemplated disciplinary or vigilance case, and integrity of the officer — certified by an officer of Under Secretary rank or above.
• Certification that the selected officer will be relieved of duties by the parent department.

4. What is the pay scale and salary for Executive Engineer (Civil)?

• The pay scale is Rs. 67,700 – Rs. 2,08,700 (Pay Level-11 as per 7th CPC) for Group-A posts. Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other admissible allowances will be payable as per Central Government / UT Administration rules.
