Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Essential Qualification for JRF-I:
  • Undergraduate Degree in a relevant field (such as Engineering, Sciences, Management, or related disciplines) from a recognized University or Institute with a minimum of 55% marks.
  • Desirable Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field or discipline from a recognized University or Institution.
  • Experience in technology development, technology transfer, innovation management, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), startup & entrepreneurship ecosystem, incubation, industry liaison, project management, or technology commercialization.
  • Strong communication, report writing, documentation, coordination, and organizational skills.
  • Research or project experience in academic institutions, research organizations, innovation centres, or incubation centres.
  • Experience in handling Government-funded projects or schemes.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for a direct interview. Fulfilment of minimum qualifications does not guarantee an interview call — the university reserves the right to shortlist based on desirable criteria and the number of applicants. The tentative date of interview is 16 November 2026 at 10:00 AM at the DST-TEC Centre, Old Forestry Building, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Koni, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed separately via email or phone. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the interview.

How to Apply for GGU Junior Research Fellow I

  • Eligible candidates must submit their application offline in the following manner:
  • Prepare a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  • Compile self-attested copies of all educational certificates and mark sheets.
  • Attach a list of publications/patents, if applicable.
  • Send or submit the completed application by post or in person to the office of the Coordinator, DST-Technology Enabling Centre (TEC), Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur – 495009, Chhattisgarh on or before 30 October 2026.
  • Alternatively, candidates fulfilling the conditions may send their applications on plain paper through Email to [email protected] mentioning personal contact information and academic credentials along with self-attested testimonials by 30/10/2026.
