Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Senior Resident (CTVS): MS/DNB in General Surgery; or M.Ch/DNB in Cardio Thoracic & Vascular Surgery.
• The candidate must possess a medical qualification included in Schedule I & II of the Medical Council of India.
• MCI-recognized postgraduate qualification (MS/DNB in General Surgery) and post-doctorate qualification (M.Ch/DNB in CTVS) as applicable.
• The candidate must be registered with the Central or State Medical Council.
• Age Limit: Maximum 45 years. Relaxations: SC/ST – 5 years; EBC/BC – 3 years; Female candidates – 3 years.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection for IGIMS Senior Resident posts will be conducted through a bio-data evaluation and interview scheme of marking (Total 100 marks). Candidates will be assessed based on their academic record, relevant experience, and performance in the personal interview.
• Candidates must carry all original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies for verification during the interview.
• If the number of eligible candidates exceeds the permissible limit, a screening test may be conducted before the interview as per institutional norms.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for the walk-in interview.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

• Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth.
• All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (MS/DNB in General Surgery or M.Ch/DNB in CTVS).
• Medical Qualification Certificate as included in Schedule I & II of MCI.
• MCI/State Medical Council Registration Certificate.
• Experience Certificates on Official Letterhead (if applicable).
• Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (if applicable).
• Two recent passport-size photographs and Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN).
• Self-attested photocopies of all original documents.
• Reach the interview venue well in advance to complete registration formalities.
