  • The appointment is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project duration of six months. This is a project-based (ICMR EPTS) contractual position and does not carry permanent government job security or pension benefits.

Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) — Essential Qualification

  • Option A: First class Post Graduate Degree including integrated PG degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, or other allied subjects.
  • Option B: Second class Post Graduate Degree including integrated PG degree with a PhD in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, or other allied subjects.
  • Experience (mandatory for both options): Minimum 1-year experience in biomedical research projects / clinical trials.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Knowledge of computer applications.
  • Previous experience of working in molecular / genomic or related laboratories.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software.

Selection Process and Screening Clause

  • The selection process for Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) at AIIMS Jodhpur is conducted in two stages:
  • Screening / Scrutiny Test: The Competent Authority reserves the right to conduct a screening or scrutiny test depending on the number of eligible applicants who appear for the walk-in interview.
  • Walk-in Interview: All shortlisted / screened candidates will then appear for the direct walk-in interview on 22 October 2026.
  • Report to Room no. 234, 2nd floor, Medical College, AIIMS Jodhpur between 12:00 PM and 01:00 PM on 22 October 2026. Candidates reporting after 01:00 PM will not be entertained. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview.
