Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Educational Qualification: 10+2 from a Recognized Board
  • Service Experience: Minimum 5 years in Armed Forces/CAPFs; Preference to Signal Corps experience
  • Eligible Candidates: Ex-servicemen of Armed Forces/CAPFs and former Constables of disbanded HSISF/HAP Battalions
  • Character Certificate: Should be marked Exemplary or Outstanding
  • Medical Category: Must be Category A at time of discharge
  • Service Requirement: Candidate must not have been removed or dismissed from service

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • No written examination or physical test will be conducted. Selection is based on direct document verification and interview.
  • Submission of application and documents in person
  • Scrutiny of eligibility and relevant service records
  • Verification of educational qualifications, age, and supporting certificates
  • Character and antecedent verification by district police authority
  • Medical examination before appointment
  • Issuance of appointment letter to selected candidates
  • Note: No TA/DA will be paid for appearing for document submission or interview. Candidates may receive preference if they have experience handling telecommunication equipment.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

  • Duly completed prescribed application form
  • Four passport-size color photographs
  • 10th and 12th educational certificates
  • Proof of date of birth
  • Armed Forces/CAPF/HSISF/HAP service and discharge records
  • Service enlistment and discharge dates
  • Medical category certificate at discharge
  • Character certificate (Exemplary or Outstanding)
  • Aadhaar Card photocopy
  • PAN Card photocopy
  • Bank passbook photocopy
  • Relevant category certificate (if applicable)
  • Prescribed affidavit declaring eligibility and willingness to serve
  • Candidates must attend personally. Incomplete applications or applications received after 5 November 2026 will not be entertained.
