Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Post: Research Assistant / Field Investigator Essential Qualification: MA in History. Desirable Requirements: Specialisation in Medieval / Modern Indian History. Experience of handling archival sources. Familiarity with Environmental History.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Applications will be shortlisted based on eligibility and CV.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for an Interview on 16 November 2026. The exact time will be emailed once shortlisted.
  • The interview mode will be Offline or Online (Google Meet link will be provided for the online mode).
  • Mere fulfilment of minimum qualifications does not guarantee selection.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

  • Recent CV / Resume.
  • All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (MA in History).
  • Experience Certificates on Official Letterhead (if applicable).
  • Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (if applicable).
  • Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN).
