Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Post: Revenue Servant (Kotwal) — Temporary (17 vacancies)
  • Educational Qualification: Must have passed the 4th Standard examination from a recognised school.
  • Residency Requirement: Candidate must be a permanent local resident of the villages included within the specific Saja for which they are applying. A Gram Panchayat residency certificate is mandatory at the document verification stage.
  • Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 06 October 2026.
  • Nationality: Citizen of India and domicile of Maharashtra.
  • Physical Fitness: The post involves extensive field duties; candidates must be medically fit.
  • Character: No criminal record or pending court cases resulting in punishment.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • The selection for all 17 temporary vacancies of Revenue Servant (Kotwal) is through a written examination followed by document verification.
  • Important: No TA/DA will be paid to candidates attending the written examination or document verification. The selection committee reserves the right to cancel, modify, or alter the recruitment process or vacancy numbers at any stage.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

  • Educational qualification certificates (4th Standard School Leaving Certificate).
  • Residency Certificate / Gram Panchayat Certificate proving residence in the respective Saja villages.
  • Caste Certificate and valid Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) Certificate valid up to 31/03/2027 (where applicable).
  • Proof of Age — School Leaving Certificate or Birth Certificate.
  • Character Certificate from the local Police Station.
  • Small Family Declaration Certificate as per Maharashtra Civil Services rules.
  • Medical Fitness Certificate issued by an authorised medical officer (at document verification stage).
  • Affidavit on Rs. 100/- stamp paper regarding no political party affiliation (at document verification stage).
  • Two recent passport-size photographs and valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN).
