Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Genetics and Plant Breeding or a Graduate degree holder in relevant Agricultural Sciences.
• Desirable: Candidates with working experience on mustard will be given preference.
• Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years on the last date of submission of application (20.11.2026). Age relaxation as per university rules.
• Ph.D. Students: May apply but must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Dean PGS at the time of interview.
• Discipline: Genetics and Plant Breeding & Agronomy

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection will be through a direct interview to be held on 21 November 2026 at 2:30 PM in the Office of the Director of Research, CCS HAU, Hisar.
• No separate interview call letter will be issued to candidates.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Candidates must bring original certificates along with certified true copies (or originals to be submitted to the University).
• Working experience on mustard will be given preference during screening.

How to Apply for CCS HAU Young Professional-II (YP-II)

• Prepare the application on the prescribed proforma (Annexure A) available in the official notification.
• Ensure the application is complete in all respects.
• Send or deliver the application to the office of the Professor & Head, Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding, CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar – 125004.
• The application must reach the office latest by 20 November 2026 (Forenoon). No application received after this date will be entertained.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

• Original certificates to be produced/shown at the interview.
• Certified true copies or original certificates to be submitted to the University.
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Dean PGS – only for Ph.D. students.
• Medical certificate of fitness from the CMO of the University at the time of joining.
• Agreement on non-judicial stamped paper of ₹15/- before joining the post.
• Selected candidate should report for duty within 15 days of issue of appointment order; otherwise appointment stands cancelled.

Is there any application fee?

• The official notification does not specify any application fee for the CCS HAU Young Professional-II recruitment.

What is the salary structure for CCS HAU YP-II?

• Selected candidates will receive a fixed emolument of ₹42,000 per month. TA/DA during the project period is payable as per the entitlement of Grade-IV employees under CCS HAU TA Rules, but no TA/DA is payable for interview travel.
