Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Medical Officer: MBBS degree. Must attend school dispensary at least 5 days a week for 2 hours daily, reside within 5 km, and be available on telephone for emergencies.
• Counsellor: Graduate/Post Graduate in Psychology with at least 50% marks, OR Post Graduate in Child Development with at least 50% marks, OR Graduate/Post Graduate with Diploma in Career Guidance and Counselling with at least 50% marks.
• Riding Instructor: Matriculation with experience in horse management, equestrian sports, and ability to teach horse riding. Must stay on school campus.
• Quarter Master: B.A./B.Com with at least 5 years experience as UDC stores or Quartermaster, OR Ex-Serviceman (preferably JCO) with at least 10 years experience in store handling and accounting.
• Ward Boy: Passed Matriculation or equivalent and able to converse fluently in English.
• PEM/PTI cum Matron: Passed Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board and able to converse fluently in English. Must stay in Girls Hostel accommodation.
• Nursing Sister: Nursing diploma/degree with 5 years experience, OR Ex-Serviceman of Medical Assistant trade with at least 5 years service after training. Must stay on school campus.
• Note: Desirable qualifications vary by post and are detailed in the official notification.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection process will be based on shortlisting of applications. Shortlisted candidates will receive call letters via email or post, detailing the date, venue, and type of examination (e.g., written test, skill test, or interview). The examination venue is Sainik School Satara.
• Important: No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview or examination.

• Attach self-attested copies of all educational qualifications and experience certificates.
• Enclose the application fee Demand Draft (General/OBC) payable at Satara. SC/ST candidates are exempt.
• Affix one passport-size photograph on the application form and superscribe the post name on the envelope.
• Enclose a self-addressed envelope (9"x4") with Rs. 56/- postage stamps.
• Send the complete application by Post or by Hand to: Principal, Sainik School Satara, Satara – 415001, Maharashtra.
• Ensure the application reaches on or before 09 October 2026.
• A separate application is required for each post applied for. Applications sent by email will not be accepted.
