Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must possess a Degree from any University incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956.

Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)

  • Minimum Age: 21 Years
  • Maximum Age: 38 Years
  • Age Relaxation: SC/STP/STH: 5 years (up to 43 years) OBC/MOBC: 3 years (up to 41 years) PwBD: 10 years (irrespective of category)

Salary & Pay Scale (7th CPC)

  • Selected candidates will receive a salary as per the Assam Government Pay Matrix:
  • Level 4 (₹30,000 - ₹1,10,000): Assam Civil Service, Police Service, DTO, etc.
  • Level 3 (₹22,000 - ₹97,000): Inspector of Labour, Sub-Registrar, etc.
