Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection for the walk-in interview will be conducted as follows:
• Reporting at Venue: Candidates must report at 10:30 AM at the Office of the Principal cum Chief Superintendent of the respective institution on the date fixed for that institution.
• Application Submission: The completed standard form of application, self-attested photocopies, and a recent passport-size photograph must be submitted before the interview board.
• Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be allowed to appear in the written test and/or viva voce interview.
• Written Test / Viva Voce: The walk-in interview (written and/or viva voce) will be conducted as per NACO guidelines.
• Identity Verification: Candidates must show proof of photo identity to the interview board. No electronic devices will be allowed inside the examination hall.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The Project Director reserves the right to reject any or all applications and the interview process without assigning any reason thereof.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

• Candidates attending the walk-in interview must carry the following documents:
• All original testimonials including Matriculation Certificate, MBBS Degree, PG Degree (if applicable), and valid State Medical Council / NMC registration certificate.
• A standard form of application, to be submitted before the interview board.
• A set of self-attested photocopies of all the original documents.
• A recent passport-size photograph.
• Valid photo identity proof – Passport / Voter Card / Aadhaar Card / Driving License / PAN Card (to be produced before the interview board).
• Experience certificates on official letterhead as per post-wise experience requirement (if applicable).
• Valid Category / Caste Certificate in the prescribed Central Government format (if claiming reservation).

3. Is there an application fee for ASACS MO and SMO recruitment?

6. What qualification is required for ASACS Medical Officer posts?

• MBBS with valid registration from the State Medical Council of Assam / NMC is the essential qualification. MO posts require 6 months work experience; SMO posts require 3 years experience for MBBS candidates, while fresh Post Graduates (MD/Diploma/DNB in clinical discipline recognized by NMC) will be considered for SMO.
