Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Technician-B: SSLC/SSC/Matriculation pass and NCVT ITI/NTC/NAC in the relevant trade (Electronics Mechanic, Fitter, Electrician, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Turner, Machinist, Motor Vehicle Mechanic, Electroplater).
• Light Vehicle Driver-A / Staff Car Driver-A: SSLC/SSC/Matriculation pass, minimum three years experience as Light Vehicle Driver, valid driving licence for light vehicles acquired before experience.
• Heavy Vehicle Driver-A: SSLC/SSC/Matriculation pass, minimum five years driving experience including at least three years as Heavy Vehicle Driver, valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence and Public Service Badge where statutorily required.
• Age Limit: 18 to 35 years as on 13 November 2026, with relaxation for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), and other eligible categories as per Government of India orders.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Initial Screening based on academic performance and prescribed parameters.
• Written Test / Computer Based Test (CBT) for screened-in candidates.
• Qualifying Skill Test (practical driving test for driver posts; trade skill test for Technician-B).
• Document Verification of original educational, experience, reservation, and eligibility certificates.
• Final Selection based on written examination merit and qualifying skill test requirements.
• Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending written test or skill test.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

• Recent passport-size photograph.
• SSLC/SSC/Matriculation certificate and marksheet.
• Relevant NCVT ITI/NTC/NAC qualification certificate and marksheet for Technician-B posts.
• Valid driving licence for driver posts.
• Driving experience certificate from an accepted employer (Government/Semi-Government, registered companies, societies, trusts); certificates issued by individuals and part-time experience not accepted.
• Valid caste/category certificate, if claiming reservation.
• PwBD certificate, where applicable.
• Ex-Serviceman certificate and supporting documents, where applicable.
• No Objection Certificate for candidates already employed in Government service, where required.

What is the application fee for ISRO URSC Recruitment 2026?

• All applicants must initially pay Rs. 500. General/OBC/EWS candidates receive Rs. 400 refund on appearing in the written test. Women, SC/ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen receive full refund of Rs. 500 on appearing in the written test.

What is the salary for ISRO URSC Technician-B and Driver posts?

• Technician-B carries starting basic pay of Rs. 21,700 per month (Level 3). Driver posts carry starting basic pay of Rs. 19,900 per month (Level 2), plus admissible allowances.
