Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from any recognised Institute/University.
• Service/Experience Requirement: Officers holding analogous posts (i.e., Section Officer or equivalent) on a regular basis, OR officers with three years of regular service in Pay Level-6 or equivalent, in Central/State Government Universities or autonomous organisations.
• Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications, i.e., 28 October 2026.
• Channel of Application: Applications must be routed through the proper channel of the present employer.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection for this deputation vacancy will be governed by the applicable deputation rules of the University of Delhi and the Institute of Home Economics. The official notification does not specify a separate written test or interview stage. Key screening points include:
• Only those applications routed through the proper channel will be considered.
• Applications received late and/or without the required enclosures (APARs, Integrity & Vigilance Clearance, NOC) will not be considered.
• Screening and scrutiny of applications will be based on eligibility norms, service records, and APARs for the last three years.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in any stage of the selection process.

Important Instructions for Deputation Candidates

• The period of deputation is initially for one year, extendable as per the requirement of the College and at the discretion of the College.
• The College reserves the right not to fill the vacancy and/or reduce the tenure of the deputation at its discretion.
• In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection, the College reserves the right to modify, withdraw, or cancel any communication made to the candidate.
• This is a temporary/deputation appointment and does not confer permanent government job status or lifetime pension entitlements.
